We were visiting friends in Sonora, CA last night. After dinner I wanted to take a look at the sunset, which actually occurs earlier here. John initiated a fun drive in the hills to find a good view, and, with a lot of explanation of local landmarks, did locate several good spots. The Sonora area is interesting, and the territory lovely.
